Look for the blue JENNiRADIO tent at this great family event at McVicker Canyon Park in Lake Elsinore. We’ll be there from 1 to 4pm on Saturday, April 15th. See you there!

Thank you to everyone who came by for the ribbon cutting! In addition to our special guests listed below, a big thanks to Kim and Michelle from the Chamber of Commerce, and Pints & Quarts for providing delicious pizza!

You can find photos from the event here.

We hope you’ll stop by for our ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, April 10th at noon. You’ll find us in Suite G-165 at the Outlets at Lake Elsinore, halfway between the Gap and Dairy Queen. In addition to Chamber of Commerce members and local dignitaries, we’ve got the following special guests coming by:

RCBillboard_800OCHOA BOYZ, a music group composed of 4 brothers who are also actors. You may know Ryan from TV shows like Disney’s “Pair of Kings” and Nickelodeon’s “iCarly.” Raymond may sound familiar – he’s the voice of Arlo, the main character in Disney/Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur.” They’re stopping by to show their support for our center, and we’re planning for them to come back more in the future to meet fans and possibly perform!

THUNDER, the furry green mascot for our very own Lake Elsinore Storm baseball team, will also be on hand to help us cut the ribbon.

Don’t forget to get your raffle tickets for our CELEBRITY SIGNED GUITAR. “Weird Al” Yankovic, Olivia Holt from Disney, Tim Urban from American Idol, Ochoa Boyz and more signed this electric guitar. Tickets are just $5 each or 5/$20. We’re doing a SPECIAL BONUS DRAWING of additional prizes, for those who purchase tickets at our ribbon cutting on Monday.

We’ll also be giving TOURS OF THE CENTER. If you haven’t already had a chance to visit, now is your opportunity. Our Find Your Voice center includes radio and TV production facilities, where we produce programs for local radio station 101.7 FM, heard in and around Lake Elsinore. More importantly, it is the headquarters of the Jennifer Smart Foundation, and where we hold our Find Your Voice workshops to help kids & teens improve communication skills and self esteem.

Mt San Jacinto College, Menifee Campus, is presenting Spring Shorts, “a delightful evening of quirky short plays that will take you from gasping with shock, to doubling over with laughter with several stops at the hilarious absurdity of life and love along the way. You’ll recognize yourself and everyone you know in these offerings that explore the way the heart and relationships work… or don’t work.”

There are just 4 performances, April 20-23, and you can win a pair of tickets from JENNiRADIO!

Selena has always been so sweet to me, and I’d love to get a new interview with her sometime soon! In the meantime, enjoy these clips of my past conversations with her, starting with one before “Wizards of Waverly Place” even aired!

Also enjoy Selena’s music highlighted on JENNiRADIO this month, including her new single with Kygo, “It Ain’t Me.” Listen on KJNi-LP 101.7 in Socal, KKGT 91.9 in New Mexico, through the free JENNiRADIO iOS app and online at JENNiRADIO.com.

OB1_300Rick (24), Ryan (20), Robert (18), and Raymond Ochoa (15) first began their journey in the entertainment business through acting. The boys have been involved in a variety of projects, including Disney’s hit show, “Pair of Kings” (Ryan) and Disney/Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur” (Raymond). The brothers not only have a passion for acting, but for music, too.

They put together their own group, with a unique style of hip-hop mixed with rap and dance. Taking inspiration from EMINEM and LMFAO, they combined those artists’ styles to come up with their own, which they call “Hip-Hop Hype.” Their group name comes from their last name, but they are also known by the tag line “Boyz You Like.”

I first talked to Sabrina in October of 2012, before she was cast as Maya in Girl Meets World. She’s always been approachable and fun to talk to. I’ve seen her at many other events with her castmates, but our next one-on-one was at the Planes: Fire and Rescue premiere. I also got to talk to her at a TJ Martell Family Day event, where she performed. Enjoy Sabrina’s music highlighted this month on JENNiRADIO, including her new single, “Thumbs.” Listen on KJNi-LP 101.7 in Socal, KKGT 91.9 in New Mexico, through the free JENNiRADIO iOS app and online at JENNiRADIO.com.
