I talked to Emblem3 briefly at the Salvation Army’s Rock the Red Kettle concert in December 2013 (when there were still 3 of them). They seem like cool guys! You can enjoy their music highlighted this month on 91.9 FM in Grants, NM and worldwide at JENNiRADIO.com and through the JENNiRADIO iOS app.
I talked to Kelli at the premiere of Jupiter Ascending. It was nice to see her again, and get the scoop on the 4th (and most likely last) season of Disney XD’s Lab Rats, plus another project she has coming up.
As always, CES was a blast – full of great tech products and wonderful people showing them off.
It was fun talking to Echosmith during their first Vans Warped Tour. You can enjoy their music highlighted this month on 91.9 FM in Grants, NM and worldwide at JENNiRADIO.com and through the JENNiRADIO iOS app, including their new single, “Bright.”
From Batman to Birdman… I just thought Michael Keaton was a nice man on the red carpet. I am thrilled that he’s getting so much recognition this awards season. I will never forget that day, nearly ten years ago, when such a big star treated me so kindly on my very first red carpet.
Fun fact: My cameraman for that shoot, and a few others, was none other than Mark Pontius, better known now as one third of the band, Foster the People.
Watch the entire red carpet report for Herbie: Fully Loaded here.
I was just 8 years old, and so excited to be a reporter at the world premiere of Herbie: Fully Loaded. The carpet at the El Capitan was decked out with a finish line, the real Herbie and lots of look-alikes (actual cars on the red carpet!). I was so excited to be at a Disney event! I hoped to interview Lindsay Lohan, but even though I didn’t, I met many wonderful people who did give me their time that day. I’m so glad it went well, because that one day encouraged me to continue as an entertainment reporter. I have covered hundreds of movie premiere red carpets and other events, and am still doing it, almost 10 years later.
Special thanks to Michael Keaton, Justin Long, Aly & AJ, Thomas Lennon and George Lopez for their kindness and patience. And to my cameraman, Mark Pontius, who went on to become a rock star (Foster the People).
I really enjoyed speaking with Robin Williams on three different occasions. The first time was when I was just nine years old, and only had a few red carpets under my belt. He was so patient – spending time with me as if I were a veteran reporter and not a little kid. He was so kind and giving, and of course he was very entertaining. He was one of my favorite people to interview. I’m glad I had the opportunities I did, and sad I will never get to talk with him again.
