Outlets at Lake Elsinore are doing something a little different this year, as part of their Fangtastic Free Halloween Event. It’s a no-carve pumpkin decorating contest! Judging will take place during the event (5:30-7:30pm 10/31), so pre-decorated pumpkins MUST BE delivered to the Outlets office by 4:30 THE DAY BEFORE (10/30)! Plan ahead and get your pumpkin in – the winner will be featured, with their pumpkin, on the electronic billboard for one week, which is pretty darn cool! See flyer for details.

And don’t forget there will also be a magic show and trick or treating – hope to see you there! Don’t forget to come see us in suite G-165 for some candy!

I enjoyed talking to the stars and filmmakers on the icy blue carpet at the SmallFoot premiere in Westwood, California.

It may be a while since I’ve talked to MAX, but his music career has really taken off since then. You might also know him for his acting (as Max Schneider), and you’ll find him working on a lot of collaborations with other artists. He’s also part of music groups Wichita and Party Pupils. Check him out at MaxHellsKitchen.com and enjoy his music highlighted this month on JENNiRADIO. Listen to 101.7 KJNi-LP in SoCal, online at JENNiRADIO.com and through the JENNiRADIO iOS app.

This is Ellie. She’s got her very own 3-hour radio program, where she’ll share her passion for books and writing and her struggle with bullying. Ellie is one of Jennifer Smart Foundation’s Find Your Voice teens. She participated in a 3-hour group workshop and her own individual recording session, both held at the Find Your Voice center, located in the Outlets at Lake Elsinore.

NEW Interview Like the Pros workshop for ages 9 and up will be held August 18th and 19th. This is a two-part workshop, with instruction on the 18th and on-camera experience on the 19th. Kids must attend the 18th to do the hands-on portion the 19th. Registration is required in advance. Register here OR purchase your child’s ticket for this workshop now. See below for more details about this 2-day workshop.

Please note: This workshop was originally scheduled for August 12th and 19th, but was changed to August 18th and 19th, due to the Holy Fire in Lake Elsinore.

Young broadcaster, Jennifer Smart, brings her years of experience interviewing hundreds of celebrities and industry insiders, to kids and teens in Lake Elsinore.

Participants ages 9 and up are invited to “Interview Like the Pros” in this two-part workshop, August 18th and 19th. On the 18th, Jennifer and her team will instruct kids on skills and tips for three different interviewing scenarios – red carpet, sit-down/junket, and band/music festival. On the 19th, attendees will practice these skills in the three scenarios, interviewing special guests on-camera. Participants MUST complete the instruction portion on the 18th before attending the hands-on portion on the 19th.

“When interviewing someone, you may not have a lot of time and you need to think of the best question to ask, or you may want to elaborate on what they said in your previous question. Every interview is different, and the things I learned through interviewing come in handy in the rest of my life, too – like prioritizing and remaining calm,” Jennifer shares.

This interview with Ariana took place at the premiere for the animated movie, Planet 51. This was before she officially started her music career, and even before she was seen as Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon! She attended the premiere with Graham Phillips, from the Broadway musical, 13.

Enjoy Ariana’s music highlighted on JENNiRADIO this month, including her current hit, “No Tears Left to Cry.” Listen on KJNi-LP 101.7 in Socal, through the free JENNiRADIO iOS app and online at JENNiRADIO.com.

The acting world has lost yet another talented young person. We talked to Jackson Odell at the premiere for Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer, way back in 2011. He went on to roles in iCarly, Modern Family, Arrested Development, Jessie, The Fosters and The Goldbergs. His most recent projects included writing songs for the movies Forever My Girl and Redemption. He will be missed.

You’ll find my interview with Jackson at 1:49.

This is Justice. He’s got his very own 3-hour radio program, where he’ll share his passion for all things Disney – including music – and other things that are important to him. Justice is one of Jennifer Smart Foundation’s Find Your Voice teens. He participated in a 3-hour group workshop and his own individual recording session, both held at the Find Your Voice center, located in the Outlets at Lake Elsinore.
