Tyler Shamy is an 18 year old actor, singer, song writer, dancer, and voiceover artist born in New Jersey. His original fusion of pop, r&b, and dance makes him an undeniably unique artist; Tyler’s upbeat and outgoing personality is already attracting fans around the globe. He is a role model to thousands of people due to his positive attitude, and his encouragement of others to follow their dreams. A true entertainer, Tyler really knows how to put on a show.

Since August of 2007, Shamy has been living in Los Angeles to pursue his musical career in addition to acting in film, television, commercial, and voiceover. Already one of the top 100 unsigned artists on Myspace’s California Pop list and a featured artist on Radio Disney, Tyler worked with Grammy Award-Winning producer Christian Davis of Sly Doggie Productions, who produced Shamy’s EP entitled “Goin’ to LA”. Recently, Tyler has been writing and recording several new songs for his full length album with established producers and writers in the industry such as Kevin Savigar, Eddie Galan, Mach 1 Music, Lindsay Vinarsky, Michael Raphael, Jeffery David, Alex Niceforo, Adam Kagan, Mysto & Pizzi, The Knocks, Deanna DellaCioppa, Amy Powers, Eric Lumiere, and more. He has also been writing songs for other artists.

By age 6, Shamy knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the industry. Inspired by his father who is a singer, song writer, and pianist, Tyler began writing music when he was twelve years old and now has composed fifty original tunes. Shamy’s music has been featured internationally on radio stations in over 15 major markets such as Radio Disney, Clear Channel, and various theme parks. Tyler has performed at numerous concerts, venues, fairs, and festivals including Whisky a Go Go, The Troubadour, Six Flags, OC Fair, Girlfest, Kidfest, and many more on the same stage as V-Factory, Varsity Fan Club, The Clique Girlz, Savannah Outen, Joey Page, Comic Book Heroes, Savvy & Mandy, Jonnie & Brookie, Ashley Argota, and more. His original song “Goin’ to LA” was featured as myxer.com’s “Pick of the Day” and his ringtone set a record on the site after being downloaded once every 19 seconds for 24 hours.

Tyler enjoys giving back to the community by attending and performing at charity events and fund raisers such as Power of Youth, Starlight Foundation, School Zone Pop! Tour, Relay for Life, Boys and Girls Club, The American Cancer Society, Premiere in a Box, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Gomez Family Food Drive, and other non-profit organizations. He performed for thousands of childhood cancer survivors and their families at Paramount Studios for the special event “Celebrate Life with HOPE”, which also featured Jessica Simpson. He is an advocate for animals and a passionate vegetarian.

Tyler has worked on many film, television, commercial, and voiceover projects including the soap “General Hospital”, feature film “Bold Native”, the lead in Demi Lovato and We The Kings’ “We’ll Be a Dream” music video, independent film “Fanpires in Venice”, “Song In A Convenience Store”, Wayans Brothers/Paramount film “Dance Flick”, an online educational resilience program called “R4POWER” distributed to schools & kids worldwide, commercials for 7-11, T-Mobile, Sony HDTV, and Guitar Hero, Brett Dennen’s music video, Monet Monico’s music video, The Dares’ music video for Sony Free Realms, Black Eyed Peas music video, and a Public Service Announcement. Tyler has also appeared in several regional and professional theatrical productions throughout the years including the Off-Broadway showcase “Wuthering Heights, regional tour of “The Velveteen Rabbit”, & “The House of Yes” on Hollywood’s Theater Row. He received a Perry Award nomination as an “Outstanding Young Male Performer in a Musical” for his leading role in “Honk”. Shamy was interviewed on Cable TV talk show “Long Beachin’ with Mo” which airs in Long Beach, Los Angeles, England, Australia, New Zealand, and on Virgin Atlantic Airways. Tyler can also be heard on three Kids’ Music Round CDs, voiceovers for a Coldstone Creamery radio spot, MTV’s “Hammer” video game, animated feature film “Flying Heroes”, a Sony surfing video game, Educational Testing Service, & Kabillion Network. Tyler is also attached to a feature film in pre-production called “Tapestry” in which he will portray an unconventional bully.

Tyler has created an original sound as he sings and incorporates a wide range of genres and styles into his music, carried by blunt, fresh, edgy lyrics and catchy hooks. “I was immediately impressed with Tyler’s singing and songwriting skills,” says music industry veteran Jerry Lembo. “His energy and personal motivation are inspiring. Tyler is a promotion and marketing manager’s dream client,” Lembo continues, “someone who can be a career artist with unlimited multimedia potential.”

Currently, Tyler is writing and recording new material, touring, and auditioning. Shamy’s goal is to create music which inspires, impacts, entertains, and enlightens. Tyler knows who he is and where he wants go.

Avenue 52 is not your stereotypical pop/rock band. They are an American pop/rock band based out of Los Angeles, California formed in 2009 by young and talented musicians with a positive message to give to their fans.

Delivering the Avenue 52 sound and message are Sean Alexander (background vocals, lead guitarist), Tyler Aguirre (lead vocals, rhythm guitarist), and Beau Evans (drums).

The conception of the band’s name “Avenue 52″ derives from the street where the band members originally met and came together. It was the focal point from which their music was created and manifested into its current sound.

Their music is a blend of pop melodies and rock undertones. Their self-titled debut EP is available on iTunes.

They are currently rehearsing and preparing for their upcoming shows with an optimistic perspective.

Avenue 52 is not just a band and is not just a street, but a journey one must take on a road with endless possibilities.
