Watch out Rick Dees and Ryan Seacrest – The JENNi20 Countdown is now
available on uTV Comcast Channel 26!

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – July 24th, 2012 – The JENNi20 Countdown, created and
hosted by 15-year-old radio veteran Jennifer Smart, has the distinction of
being the first fully-produced TV show to air on uTV, available to all
Comcast subscribers in Albuquerque and the surrounding area. This milestone
was reached on Saturday, July 21st, 2012 at 4pm, and the 2-hour show will air
each week in that time slot.

“I’m honored to have the JENNi20 Countdown be the first official program to
air on uTV, one of uPUBLIC’s new channels,” Jennifer shares. “Although we’ve
been in production since earlier this year, and this is our 12th episode to
air, Channel 26 on Comcast brings us to a much bigger viewing audience. I
look forward to our new viewers voting every week!”

The JENNi20 Countdown is a music video show, with each episode shot in a
different location. Jennifer introduces the videos and shares news items
about the artists and information about the location. In addition to the 20
videos picked by viewers, each show includes some others chosen by Jen.
These extras include the Honor Roll, which recognizes artists for their
achievements, especially in the area of charity involvement; Box of Random,
which features more unusual videos; and Rising Star, which introduces
up-and-coming young artists. Viewers can visit JENNi20.com for info about
the show and to vote to help their favorite songs move up the countdown. In
contrast to radio-only countdowns hosted by well-known personalities, this
show is produced for both TV and radio, and the countdown is determined by
audience votes.

As an actress, Jennifer has appeared in movies and TV. This is her first
self-produced TV show. As Jen’s first career is in radio, the JENNi20
Countdown is available for both radio and TV syndication, and is currently
simulcast on her own station (AM 1240 in ABQ and JENNiRADIO.com).

About Jennifer Smart
Jennifer is no stranger to being the first, or the youngest, to accomplish
something. She was the youngest nationally-syndicated radio talk show host
at age 6 and started interviewing celebrities at 8. She’s the only child to
broadcast live from the Consumer Electronics Show several years in a row,
from E3 and from the All Candy Expo. She has interviewed more celebrities
and industry insiders than anyone else her age, and reported on more than
300 red carpets at movie premieres and charity events. She toured the 48
continental United States sponsored by HP, broadcasting from a different
location each week. She developed her own radio music format at age 9,
started her own charity at 13 and became the youngest radio station owner in
the US at age 14. Her foundation’s Find Your Voice program seeks to improve
communication skills and self esteem in sick, healthy and disadvantaged
kids. She will graduate from high school at 16.

I enjoyed appearing on Good Day New Mexico again, this time talking with Terrie Q. Sayre about our For Kids… By Kids Studio build fundraiser, the JENNiRADIO iPhone app, and upcoming Lighter Than Air Fair at the Balloon Museum.

For Kids… By Kids® Studio to be Built in Albuquerque Area

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – August 24, 2011 – AM 1240 JENNiRADIO, Albuquerque and Rio Rancho’s #1 Family Hits radio station, has developed a fundraising project that allows members of the community to be a part of something unique. The For Kids… By Kids® Studio will not only be home to the station’s production facilities, but will also help put local kids on the air.

“In addition to the generous support of individuals in the local community, we are looking for local businesses who see the value in this project. They know communication skills are important. Kids from 7 to 18 will be able to come into our studio, attend a workshop about radio, and be a DJ for a day,” Jennifer says. “It’s fun for them, but they can also learn about the power of their own voice. This studio will give us a place to share our experience. We love being part of this community, and giving kids new opportunities.”

Interested donors can visit JENNiRADIO.com/Studio for more information about donation levels offering mentions on the web site and on the wall and individual items in the studio, among other benefits. Local businesses will also be participating in the fundraiser – look for posters on display in retail windows.
